This is the first acrylic painting I've done in years. Coincidently, it was also a good opportunity to improve my layout skills. It isn't a scene of any one place in Halifax, but a combination of reference photos I took around the city. It rains often in Halifax (in fact it was raining earlier today) so I thought it would be appropriate to paint it as an overcast day.(Sorry that it's a photo and not a scan.)
