'The Cat Shat on the Mat', acrylic and ink on wood panel, 11" x 14"
Here are some sketches of people I drew. True story. Working on some other stuff I can't disclose right now. Stay tuned...
This is a revised painting I did back in December for the 'Select Start' videogame art show. I wanted to push the colors and values as it felt unfinished to me for awhile. Compare it to the one I did and posted 5 months ago - you'll see.
3 hour still life study. Acrylic on canvas paper.
This was the last painting I did for my show at the Paragon Theatre last month all dealing with an enviromental theme. The idea for it was actually floating around in my head for about six years before I finally sat down and painted it. 'Now, the people will know we were here.' , acrylic on wood panel, 12" x 24"
Join me the evening of Tuesday April 20th at the Paragon Theatre for 'Champions of Breakfast' (the cereal mascot art show)! Another fun filled sugar frosted group show you won't want to miss! See you there!
My contribution to the '80's Cartoon Art Show' that happend at the Paragon Theatre this past Tuesday night. If you missed the show - good news: it has been extended and will be up unil the 19th of April! There are still many works availible (including the one above) so take a look.
THIS TUESDAY (March 30th) is the '80's Cartoon Art Show' at the Paragon Theatre! Myself and 7 other artists have painted some of your favorite childhood characters. Fine Art + 80's nostalgia - what could be better? Also this is the LAST WEEKEND to see all the works of mine currently on display and for sale at the Paragon. Come to one of their show and check out the work while you're there. (www.theparagontheatre.com for more info)
I originaly planed to have Smokey UNintentionally burn down the forest behind him turning around in shock, but I thought it would be more amusing to have him fully aware of the enviromental damage he caused. What if animals had the same disregard for the earth that humans do? We'd be in a lot of trouble!
TOMORROW NIGHT at the Paragon Theatre is the opening of my new exhibition. Show starts off at 8:00pm and after 10:00pm I will be starting up a very special LIVE painting that will be bid on and sold by the end of the night! The painting above is one of the new paintings included in the exhibition among a series all relating to an environmental theme. It is based on my favorite Dr. Suess book of all time: The Lorax.
This is one of the new Valentine's Day themed paintings I did for my Shoe Shop Show. It is of course based on one of the most influential animated films of all time: 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'.
The name says it all! A robot specifically designed to relinquish your emotionally repressed needs! Isn't technology great? Buy one today and never be hugless again!
The robot is a homage to Robby the Robot from the movie 'Forbidden Planet'. I based the backlighting from the movie poster 'The Thing'. I've never seen the move, but one of my favorite movie posters ever made. I've gotten more comments on this painting then I ever would have anticipated…
Acrylic on wood panel canvas, 9"x 12".
Tonight is the 'Pre-Shrunk' show at Argyle Fine Art Gallery. I contributed the 3 paintings above. There will be quite a variety of art styles there and these little canvas will go fast so make sure you see the show! Starts tonight at 7:00pm. www.argylefa.tk for more info.

I did the sign 'Leo' (although my actual sign is 'Pieces'). The original painting I did has been sold and unfortunately, I don't have a photo of the finished product. Here it is about three-quarters of the way done. Photo by Stoo Metz: http://whostolemybike.com/uag/artists/Stoo-Metz
