The Boastful Ghost - framed!

THIS SATURDAY EVENING at Galerie Abyss, a new group exhibition opens up called 'Tattoos'. It is a tribute to - you guessed it - tattoos and tattoo culture just in time for Montreal's Tattoo Festival happening next weekend (September 11th - 13th).

Click here for Galerie Abyss Tattoo art show facebook event info.

I will have a framed 'The Boastful Ghost' print available in the show. I figure, if you're going to buy a print, you're going to frame it at some point anyway - why not just buy it already framed? (The framed image also comes with a FREE Thoughts & Progress: The Boastful Ghost booklet!)
Dimensions of frame are 17.5"x17.5". Contact the gallery if you are interested.

If you would like to purchase an edition of the image, but will forgo framing for now: You can purchase one of the very few remaining prints here.

Praise for Thoughts & Progress booklet!

I was unbelievably complimented today when I read Andy Nulman's (President of Just for laughs) newest blog post exclaiming his delights on the Thoughts & Progress booklet I created for the painting 'The Boastful Ghost'. Andy instigated the idea for the booklet and he writes about how much value is added in discovering the work that went into something.

Special Guest Artist - Blah Blah Gallery

The website 'Blah Blah Gallery' selected me as the 'special guest artist' for spring 2013 and posted an interview it did with me last month all about my work and influences. They asked some great questions - some of which I've been meaning to ask myself...

You can read it here: http://www.blahblahgallery.com/spguest.html

The Boastful Ghost

AT LAST!

So after much deliberation, Casper the friendly ghost is finally ready to take the plunge and get a tattoo! And by none other than his now grown up gal pal, Wendy the Witch! The idea for this painting was thought up over a year ago and was partially instigated by friend and fellow fine artist, Gordon MacDonald.
